So Much Fun!

Dear Parents and Students,

On Wednesday we had a very exciting Fun Day.  We all dressed according to our team’s color and wore our suitable headbands.  Everyone enjoyed the fun spirit and the games presented by our Sixth Graders.  Thank you, Students, for being enthusiastic and for participating with lots of energy. 

Our Thanksgiving lunch is next week, November 22^nd.  Again, thank you for signing up and I am looking forward seeing you and having Thanksgiving lunch with you.   See you all at 12.30pm in the school cafeteria. 

Literacy Week is coming up.  It will take place from December 3^rd to the 7^th.  Some fun activities, based on reading and literature, are planned for that week, for example our annual Spelling Bee will take place on December 7^th.  More information and arrangements will follow soon.  

Students, remember about our Field Trip to Taipei Zoo on Wednesday, November 28^th!  Huge is my EXCITEMENT!!!

Curriculum Planning for Week 13:

Math:  We will continue with Chapter 7 and learn more about data and probability. 

English:  In Week 12 we learned about Adjectives.  In Week 13 we will look at Adverbs.

Science:  We will continue with Chapter 8, Patterns in Earth’s Atmosphere.

Social Studies:  We will wrap up Chapter 4 and review Unit 2.  We will get tested on Unit 2 in Week 13.

Reading:  We will do activities based on our new story called Dancing Rainbows.

This week was a very special birthday day.  It was the birthday of two girls on the same day!  Happy birthday to Isaline Jonard and Jungmin Yoo.  Their birthday was on Tuesday, November 13^th.   Thank you for ALL the treats and the party.  We had a lot of fun!

Our Student of the Week is Aoi Fujimoto.  Aoi is showing great improvement and he is participating with enthusiasm.  He puts in greater effort during his classes.  Congratulations, Aoi.  You are a star!
